Antinsurance began trading online in early 2000 via our trading name of Freeinsuranceuk.com. We pioneered the online selling of standalone Mortgage and Loan Payment Protection. June 2006 we then launched an Income Protection Insurance (ASU) uniquely providing the additional choice of 3 and 6 months benefit period in addition to the industry standard of 12 months.

In 2007 and in 2008 we were awarded the What Mortgage Magazine Insurer of the Year award and regularly topped Defaqtro and the FSA tables as the most competitive provider of quality payment protection insurance.

The credit crunch in 2008 caused all underwriters to have to re-evaluate their products and, as brokers, we were forced to do the same to ensure that we provided the most competitive yet robust and stable insurance cover in a very volatile market. In March 2009 we therefore now offered a highly competitive Mortgage Protection Insurance followed in May 2009 by an Income Payment Protection (ASU) both underwritten by Lloyds of London.

Additionally FIUK.com will now be expanding their insurance products database through other internet sites and this will open up new and exciting avenues for the company throughout 2009 and beyond enabling us to continue to offer excellent value for money products across the spectrum of the insurance field.
